Uniform and Dress Code

It is our policy that children wear school uniform every day and we would appreciate your full cooperation in this. It is designed to be simple and practical, and above all gives children a sense of belonging to the school. 

 

Girls

 

  • White shirt
  • Black or grey skirt, trousers or dress
  • White or grey socks
  • Black or grey tights
  • Purple school jumper or cardigan with school logo
  • Bethany school tie
  • Black school shoes
  • Purple summer dress (summer term)

 

​Boys

  • White shirt
  • Black or grey trousers or shorts
  • Black or grey socks
  • Purple school jumper with logo
  • Bethany school tie
  • Black school shoes

School ties should be worn with shirts

 

General Reminders

  • Skirts are to be knee length
  • No make-up to be worn (including nail varnish or false nails)
  • Headbands need to be either black or purple and not decorative/fashionable.
  • Earrings must be studs. These need to be removed at home on P.E. days (for safety reasons)
  • No jewellery to be worn (to request the wearing of jewellery for religious reasons, a signed letter from parents to the head teacher is needed)
  • Shoes need to be plain black shoes. No trainers, clogs or boots

 

Please ensure your child’s uniform is clearly marked with their name. This will help to identify any item that may be misplaced.

P.E. Kit

 

  • T-shirt in house colour (plain)
  • Black or navy shorts (must be plain – no logos)
  • Trainers
  • Black or navy tracksuit bottoms for winter (must be plain – no logos)

 

All P.E. kit to go in a named PE bag and should be kept in school except for holidays where it will be taken home for washing.

 

Earrings


Please ensure your child only wears STUD earrings.
If your child is unable to remove their earrings by themselves please make sure that they do not wear them to school on the days they are having PE. Thank you.

 

Your child also needs:

 

  • Book Bag
  • Named water bottle

 

All of the above uniform and equipment should be clearly named.
