St Clement’s and Bethany school was originally a convent and 50 years ago it was given by the nuns to be a school for children.
The church, which is situated, between St Clement's and St John's Infant and Bethany Junior School had a piece of land that was infested with nettles and bramble. So we thought it would be a fantastic creative space for nature and spirituality. With help from St Clement's Church, local businesses and our families, we began transforming the land.
The Secret Garden is now an amazing space and provides the schools and local community a place for peaceful reflection and also a learning space for both children and adults.
